Here Comes That Fear Again

This Saturday we're going to be hawking our jewels at the Artists and Fleas Designer's Market in Williamsburg's McCarren Park.  Hopefully the weather will be gorgeous.  Visit us!  

This picture was taken a few years ago in the park, on the kind of day where you just forgive New York for all of it's bullshit.  Jarvis Cocker had set up his blanket next to ours and was playing wiffleball with his kid.

Growing our own.

For the first time, I've been trying to grow my own food.  My apartment is hellaciously tiny and both windows are crammed with all kinds of seedlings.  Strawberries, cucumbers, herbs, peas, nasturtiums, and brussels sprouts are all reaching toward the sun.  There's a whole wall of windows here at the studio, so Lindsay and I planned a very ambitious (to us) planting, and so far we've fed ourselves and our staff many baby lettuce salads.  It grows fast in self-watering containers.  There are also carrots and radishes crowded into an Ikea self-watering planter.  Today I spotted the first set of beans which are climbing up an unused vintage wood easel.  Miraculous!  There's one new set of blossoms on our Meyer lemon tree, which I've almost killed somehow.  Maybe it was because it was on the radiator for a week.  

Forced to Diet! While wearing Sequin Earrings

The cover of Life & Style magazine this week features Katie Holmes in costume for her upcoming movie The Extra Man, and SHE IS WEARING OUR SEQUIN EARRINGS!  We've been working with the costume designer for the movie, so we know that they're definitely ours.  In the film, which also stars Kevin Kline and Paul Dano, her character wears our jewelry exclusively.  If you look closely at her wrist on page 3, you can see the very end of our Bent Feather Bracelet poking out of the cuff of her coat.
